What Hosts and Trainees
say about CAEP

  • I can say just that I'm very happy that I participate in this program. This was one of the best experience from my life. I met here great people and I'm very lucky that they are my friends.
    Vera, Horticulture Trainee from Moldova
  • I was very impressed when I came in the United States. I got many friends from Brazil, Thailand and Bulgaria. I'm most impressed relations by the team to their work and devotion Americans. So all the 5 months that I spent in the U.S. I tried to make largest contribution to the common case, namely the growing flowers. My efforts were appreciated by the leadership of the farm, including my host. When I was in the U.S. I have visited many interesting places, most of all I remembered the city of Chicago. I was shocked to the depths of the soul.
    Oleksandr, Horticulture trainee from Ukraine
  • CAEP provides opportunities for us to exchange ideas and principles of modern sustainable farming practices with student interns from around the globe. We feel strongly in the program's ideals of training the next generation of sustainable farmers to feed the world.
    Bob, Horticulture Host
  • My program was in agriculture and livestock through CAEP. It was a very rewarding experience. Thank you CAEP for giving me the opportunity to see different cultures and business methods that can be applied to our home country.
    Santiage, Agriculture trainee from Uruguay
  • We host for a multitude of reasons, some of which are: the lasting friendships we develop with the trainees and often times their family as well. We have truly enjoyed visiting the trainee's years after they have been on our farm and watching the lifestyles they develop. We believe that exposing our children to people from other countries has been instrumental in their development and apjj preciation for the world we live in.
    Scott, Agriculture Host
